Why run the series?
A friendly four-race series for experienced trail runners, road runners trying the trails and anyone who wants a marked coastal route without pressure or cut-offs.

The four races
All races start at 09:00 and offer approximately 5km or 10km.

Flat, fast and confidence-building, with open cliff paths, runnable sections and plenty of room for a proper race effort.

Exposed north-coast scenery, more technical ground and short punchy climbs with a brilliant winter atmosphere.

Courses and hazards
Expect cliff paths, roots, mud, rocks, exposed sections and changing conditions across the series.
Grip is essential on muddy, rocky and slippery winter paths.
Choose the marked 5km or 10km option at each venue.
Watch for arrows, red-and-white tape and marshal instructions, especially near road sections.
Take litter home and remain considerate of walkers and other path users.
New to trails?
There are no cut-offs and no pressure. Every runner gets their finish-line moment.

Quick answers
Yes. The 5km option is an excellent introduction, there are no cut-offs and you are welcome to run or walk at your own pace.
No. The main ethos is to enjoy the run, and the field includes a wide range of ages and abilities.
Choose 5km if you are newer to trails or returning after a break; choose 10km if you are comfortable spending longer on varied winter terrain.
Yes. Enter one event, choose several or complete all four.
Changes depend on available capacity and must be agreed before the event.
Yes. Winter cliff paths can be muddy, rocky and slippery, so suitable grip is important for safety.
Look for black arrows on yellow signs, red-and-white tape and marshals. Confidence markers reassure you that you remain on course.
Venue-specific parking and arrival details will be emailed before each race. Park responsibly and car-share where possible.
All four races are scheduled for 09:00. Arrive in time to park, collect your number and attend the briefing.
Races normally continue in winter conditions, but safety comes first. Follow any updated instructions sent before the event.
Results are published online after each race.
