A 10 mile event supporting Headway Jersey and Macmillan Jersey
About the event
Running for Frubbs is a memorial run created by Headway ambassador Harry McAlinden in honour of his friend Frank MacFarlane.
In 2025 all proceeds will be shared equally between Headway Jersey and Macmillan Jersey. Everyone taking part helps support two essential local charities.

Race day details
- Date: Sunday 7 December 2025
- Location: Start and finish at Castle Quay, Waterfront
- Arrival time: From 9:30 a.m.
- Start time: 10:00 a.m.
The route is officially measured and takes runners from the Waterfront to St Aubin, along the bay and up the Railway Walk before looping back to Castle Quay.
Water station: Water will be available in St Aubin near Little Gem beach cafe.
Entry and fundraising
Entry costs £35 which includes a £10 minimum fundraising commitment. Funds raised are split equally between Headway Jersey and Macmillan Jersey.

Key information
- Entrants must be 18 or older
- T-shirt guarantee: As time is quite short before the actual race, we will be ordering 100 t-shirts in the most popular numbers of the usual sizes. Therefore we cannot guarantee all entrants after 100 will get a t-shirt or that they will get the size they request.
- Registration closes Friday 5 December 2025 At 10am
- Race pack collection: Friday 5 December, 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Rock N Road Run Co, Liberty Wharf, St Heliere
- Bag drop available at Castle Quay. Items left at own risk
- No refunds or transfers. No name swaps
