Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need trail shoes?
Yes — for safety and grip on rocky, sometimes muddy north‑coast paths. Get a pair in good time and break them in.
What about getting lost?
We mark the course with yellow signs and red/white tape at junctions. Stay alert for markers. Carry a GPX if you’re unfamiliar with the area (we’ll provide links where helpful).
What ages can take part?
We welcome runners from age 16+, and we often see participants well into their 70s. New to running? You’ll fit in.
What should I bring?
Trail shoes, comfy running kit for the weather, and a water bottle if you prefer your own. For longer races, check the kit list in the race info pack.
What happens if it rains?
We run in all weather. If it’s wet, dress for it and enjoy the puddle‑splashes — part of the fun!
Is there a bag drop?
Yes — at the start/finish area (details in the race info pack).
Can I run with a friend?
Absolutely — running with a buddy is a great way to share the experience.
