Exciting news for all outdoor enthusiasts! The much-anticipated Trail Monkey AutumnTrail Series is returning this Autumn!
We’re hosting 4 fantastic races between September and November, giving you the chance to experience the breathtaking beauty of Jersey’s cliff-paths.
Each race consists of a roughly 5km loop, with an option to complete either one or two loops. You can choose the challenge level that suits you best!
(Note: We might need to switch up the venues, but we promise it’ll be a fun and scenic spot nonetheless!)
When you sign up for the Autumn Trail Series, we’ll provide you with your race number, water, race organization, and insurance. Plus, we’ll set up a fun and challenging course marked for your safety – so you can focus on the running part!
If you’re feeling ambitious and sign up for the whole series, you’ll receive a special Trail Monkey race series technical t-shirt to flaunt! Plus, if you run all four races of the Autumn Trail Series, you’ll be entered into our series championship. More info on this to come.
Don’t hesitate, as we have only 65 spots per race. This is your chance to enjoy a fun, muddy, and social Sunday morning!

Frequently Asked Questions:
.
Do I need trail shoes?
Yes, for your safety and to handle the technical and rocky north coast trails, especially if it rains. Please get a pair in good time for the race and break them in.
Worried about getting lost?
We’ve got you covered! We place yellow signs with black arrows and red and white barrier tapes to guide you at junctions. Keep an eye out for these markers, and consider carrying a GPS of the course map, especially for longer races.
Is trail running for me?
Absolutely! All you need is a positive attitude, a pair of trail shoes, and a sense of adventure.
Why trail run?
Trail running offers a unique sense of freedom and the opportunity to explore nature. Plus, you get to experience the beautiful scenery of Jersey.
What about hazards on the course?
The route can be hazardous in certain spots, so we’ll point out potential dangers. Stay alert for any hidden risks, let faster runners overtake when safe, and don’t try to overtake on narrow/dangerous sections. If you ever feel unable to continue, let a marshal know at the next checkpoint.
How about if I want to come and see what it’s all about?
You are more than welcome to come up and spectate the races, or even better come and help us by marshalling and find out all about race day, the great community we have and sample some of the great cake at the end! Contact us to find out more

Event Info
Environment
We are able to stage these events as a privilege and on the understanding that we “leave no trace”. We ask that any wrappers for gels, water bottles or snacks are either disposed of suitably or held on to until there is a bin available. Please be considerate to other people using the pathways – please give them right of way and say good morning to everyone to show what a lovely bunch us runners are.
Parking
Will hopefully be available near the race starts at each race. We would ask that runners park considerately and responsibly and where possible car share to minimise impact on other users of the car park. Parking is at the sole risk of the car owner and we are not responsible for any loss or damage to vehicles arising from using the public car parks.

The Course (Marking and hazards)
The course will be marshalled and there will be course markings out to show the way. There are a few hazards on this course – slippery pathways, protruding rocks and roots and the pathways are very muddy – trail shoes are required for this race. If you do not have them you place yourself in danger of falling or injury, which of course we don’t want. There are sometimes road sections our races, so road sense is required. We will have marshals on the road sections so please listen to their directions.
We will issue race numbers at race check-in and these must be worn on the front of your body and visible at all times, otherwise we will be unable to record your result. – please retain your race number for the entire series of the trail races. Once you have finished race one, put them somewhere safe and ready to use for the next race you are participating in.
Results
Event results will be posted on our Facebook page within 48 hours of event end and will be emailed out to all competitors also.
